Security Statement

The integrity of our Internet banking security structure is dependent upon the successful implementation and maintenance of the security framework described below. Our Internet Banking Server takes a proactive role in advancing our internet security technologies and practices by utilizing industry security experts and network security product consultants. In order to ensure the security controls are continually evolving and remain evenly balanced with the state of technology, our Internet Banking Server security infrastructure is regularly audited and inspected.

Our Internet Banking Server is physically protected at a secure, private data processing facility with round-the-clock electronic access control and surveillance. Access to sensitive areas of the facility requires multiple authentications and authorities. Power and critical environmental controls systems are redundant and operate independent of utility providers.

Our Internet Banking Server network perimeter is protected by a series of access controls. This is accomplished with routers, firewalls, Demilitarized Zones (DMZ's) and Private IP addressing. In addition to the infrastructure, the network is monitored 24x7x365 for malicious codes and intrusions.

Data that travels between the user and the server is entered through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which creates a 128-bit encrypted connection between the user and server, requiring digital certificate authentication of the user's browser and server, as well as user password authentication prior initiating the encrypted session.

Log-In Security

Prior to your first use of the online service, you will have a user code and password. We will assign you an initial password, which you will be able to use one time only to gain access to the system. You will be required to change this password upon your initial entry into the system. As part of the new login process, you will select and name a security image. Each time you log in, you will see your security image and know that you are in the authentic bank site. Only at this time you will enter your password. You will also answer security questions. If we do not recognize the computer you are using to log in, we will ask you to answer one of the security questions you previously created. Thereafter, we will assign you a new password upon your request at any time. After five unsuccessful log-in attempts, the system will lock the user out. A call must be made to the bank to be allowed online access again. To help prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of your accounts, we will end your online session if it is detected that there has been no activity for ten minutes. We do this to protect you in case you leave your computer unattended after you logged in.

We are committed to working with our Online Banking Provider to have the safest banking environment possible for our customers.
